Here is a neat website run by Clam City. Which I believe is run by Larry Dennis. It has audition notices, tells you what is playing in Idaho Theaters. Also Events, Fundraisers, has a news blog, message board and is an all round great place to check out.

"boise micro-cinema has as it's sole purpose to foster the cooperation and collaboration of those in the greater boise area who have the desire and sincere intent to create cinema. to that end boise micro-cinema provides an online flash video venue and an online forum to facilitate communication between boise's micro-cinema makers."

I am not sure why this website is anti-capital letters but it has a great mission statement. Much similiar to what D-Lime is going for however ours is a bit more centered on quality filmmaking as an art as well as cooperation.

If you need a permit, wonder what filmmestivals are located in Idaho or are just curious to see what major poroductions have been shot here in Idaho this is the place to be. A Must visit for any serious Idaho filmmaker.

This is the biggest film festival in Idaho. It is always in September and it is always in Boise.

The Executive Director is Lyle Banks who is a pretty approachable guy.

Best films in town are usually found at The Flicks. You can get a beer a Sammich and watch the best independant films from all over the world here. If you have never been to The Flicks you should go.

Clam City is a Production Company that makes independant shorts. I think it is run by Larry Dennis but I could be wrong. They seem to be a good group.

I totally wanna go to the idaho film festival next year in September, and also, i wanna hit up 'flix' sometime. Looks like a cool place when i put a flyer up there...

The Visual Arts Collective in Garden City is a great place to see art. I am really impressed with the couple that has put this place together.
