Ballet Idaho

"Ballet Idaho and our audiences create a cultural community. We give pleasure and enlightenment and celebrate the human architecture of ballet and great music.

Ballet Idaho is a company of 18 Dancers and 7 Apprentices. We place an emphasis on clear, clean classical dancing and musicality. My choreography, neo-classic ballet, certain traditional works from the 20th and 21st centuries, including Balanchine, will make up our repertorie. In addition we perform "Nutcracker" every December and a full-length story ballet in early Spring.

Capital City Ballet

Capital City Ballet Center is nine years old but has a history of twenty five years. Our philosophy is one of partnership with parents, teachers, and students. Whether career-oriented or dancing for recreation, dance students at the center will receive excellent training under our progressive syllabus and limited enrollment policy. The studio is located at 8749 West Hackamore Drive behind Wal-Mart and can be accessed from the Maple Grove or Overland Roads.

The trey macintire group is pretty cool. Danielle and I were walking downtown and we saw them do an 'on the spot' performance randomly on the side of the street... Crazy! Gifted people, very flexible!
