    David Lynch Empty David Lynch

    Post  Brian Sat Oct 24 2009, 20:01

To describe David Lynch's work one must first use the words Odd and Different. His devotion to detail is not lost even though his meaning often is. Lynch's style is in a class all to it's self. If you enjoy films that break the mold then Lynch is your cup of tea.

    David Lynch Empty Eraserhead

Lynch's first feature Erasurehead is often misunderstood. I tend to not over think David's film's. They are macabre as they are interesting

    David Lynch Empty Dune

David Lynch got the rights to the story that most all science fiction borrows from. Star Wars most certainly shamelessly stole from the story.

Lynch was a great choice due to his alien like style of filmmaking.

    David Lynch Empty Blue Velvet

Starring Dennis Hopper, Blue Velvet is a shocking tale of violence and oddity. Truly a film that is tough to watch and darkly humorous.

Probably my favorite of Lynch's work. This violent action romance has a lot interesting moments. This film is also rumored to be the film that Tarantino ripped off when he wrote True Romance.

    David Lynch Empty Mulholland Drive

A very unusual film. I hate to describe it due to it's difficulty in describing it. But worth watching non-the-less.

Speaking of Mulholland Drive, the first thing I did after I saw it was buy the soundtrack. The a cappella version of "Crying" is absolutely incredible.
